Urban Typography and Digital Application
Introductory level
The course investigates urban space and its crucial role in the production of a concept and its graphic and digital visualisation. The exploration and analysis of selected spots in Rome will be the premise of the learning path: starting from the experience of a tridimensional place, the students will translate it into a concept and then turn it into a physical object again. The typography element, through its usages, meanings, and representations, will be the central tool and the final output of the course.
- Master typographic visualisation techniques by acquiring a practical knowledge of the language and professional tools used in typographic visualisation.
- Connect location and the creative process by designing and producing a printed work that captures the essence of a chosen location in Rome while mapping the creative process.
- Build a professional portfolio by creating a tangible printed output to enhance your academic or professional portfolio, reflecting both your technical skills and creative journey.
