An international achievement involving Milan and Rome campus alumni of the BA in Film and Animation: eight short films have been selected for the 2023 edition of the Student World Impact Film Festival (SWIFF). In addition, "Miasma" – a thesis project by former student TianTian Hegot the Honorable Mention

The international film festival and NABA student projects 

SWIFF is a US film festival dedicated to the work of students around the world. It aims to elevate the voices of young storytellers to give them the opportunity to share their stories. For the 2023 edition, over 13,000 applications were received from emerging filmmakers in 120 countries. The global standing of the event adds value to alumni’s achievements. In addition to the Honorable Mention of "Miasma", the short films selected are: "Il mio respiro" ("My breath") by Samuele Piacenza, "L'incantesimo di Circe" ("Circe's Spell") by Alessandro Montali, "L'inusuale proposta di vivere" ("The unusual proposal to live") by Alessandro Ciuffardi, "Leave me dance alone" by Aurora Fumero and Luca Mazzucconi, "Madreperla" ("Mother of pearl") by Jacopo Landriscina, "Seraph" by Andrea Rebecca Marchini, "Street Music" by Andre Joglekar and Giovanni Pacelli, "Teletocco" by Aurora Fumero.
