Four projects by the students of NABA Communication and Graphic Design Area at Milan and Rome campus secured top positions at the XXIII edition of the Spot School Award, Mediterranean Creativity Festival - The Youngest Award. This international competition for graphic design, advertising, and communication students was organised by the Associazione Creativisinasce and curated by Caritas Italiana, FERPI Federazione Relazioni Pubbliche Italiane and Laboratorio Adolescenza. The participating students were challenged to create communication campaigns for non-profit organisations based on three briefs provided by the partners, which were evaluated and selected by a jury of experts.

Spot School Award: Advertising and Communication Contest Prizes

Among the awarded projects created by students from Master of Arts in Visual Design and Integrated Marketing Communication from the NABA Milan campus, the Gold medal was awarded to Srikanth Niharika Anumpama and Tajta Ebbani in the Manifesto/Annuncio Stampa category, based on the Brief Laboratorio Adolescenza, whith the campaign “Influencer di me stesso”. The campaign highlights the consequences of comparison with influencers, which contribute to lowering self-esteem among teenargers and young adults and increasing their psychological distress. In the same category, and based on the same brief, Davide Longobardo, Alberto Benetton, and Serena Pigliapoco received the Silver medal and a Copywriting Special Mention.

Regarding the projects created by students from the BA in Graphic Design and Art Direction in NABA Rome campus, the Silver medal was awarded to Francesco Fuoco, Gaia Solinas, Mattia De Vito, and Roberta Rocchi in the Digital category, also based on the Brief Laboratorio Adolescenza. The Bronze was assigned to Singla Ananya, Carlotta Cugildi, and David Razvan Guta in the Manifesto/Annuncio Stampa category, based on the FERPI brief, which called for a campaign to raise awareness against gender discrimination and harassment in the workplace experienced by women.
