In conjunction with the 2024 edition of drupa, held in Düsseldorf from May 28 to June 7, 2024, students from the BA in Graphic Design and Art Direction had the opportunity to see their projects realised and exhibited, as well as to present them. The event was also the occasion to award the winning projects of the epda Future Packaging Award contest 2023.

NABA at drupa: academy students at the world’s leading fair for printing technologies

At drupa, the world’s leading fair for printing technologies, students from the BA in Graphic Design and Art Direction had the chance to present projects based on three briefs launched by the companies Koenig&Bauer, Landa, and Mondi. The students had the opportunity to participate in the event to meet industry experts, discuss their projects, and present the prototypes physically realised in the company.

Under the guidance of Luca Giulio Ferreccio (NABA lecturer), these are the projects realised and exhibited at drupa:

The project “Gemme” by Marta Casati, Giada Casu, and Giulia Chiò, based on the brief from Koenig&Bauer;
The project “Hue” by Pietro Cosimo Cappellini and Rebecca Casati, based on the brief from Landa;
The project “Kado” by Camilla Scaramuzzi, Lucia Marina Tomasi, Sofia Tumino, and Simone Zalambani, based on the brief from Mondi.

The winning projects of the epda Future Packaging Award 2023 contest
