NABA presents its new visual communication campaign based on the concept of metaphorical personification of design elements: working tools and artwork come to life, combining with each other.

The concept of the institutional campaign by FIONDA

The new visual communication project has a dynamic composition with saturated colours and unusual shapes. Six characters from a fantasy universe perform on an imaginary stage; they play with interior elements, fabrics, brushes, oversized set squares and technological devices. Every object merges with each other embodying the collaboration between the Academy's Areas: Communication and Graphic Design, Design, Fashion Design, Media Design and New Technologies, Set Design, Visual Arts. In accordance with the "Made in NABA" concept, the syncretic relationship between characters and tools represents a multidisciplinary didactic approach looking at experimentation.

The campaign design comes from FIONDA - a Turin-based visual communication and creative direction agency led by Roberto Maria Clemente. FIONDA and NABA have already collaborated on the occasion of brand identity renewal in 2020. The agency's background includes a series of projects in the cultural and social field, including the visual identity of Artissima, the international contemporary art fair in Turin, MAXXI - Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo in Rome and L'Aquila and Gallerie d'Italia in Turin.
