The Project

NABA presents a new edition of its Design Marathon, the Academy’s format now in its 10th edition, that took place from 12th to 14th March remotely, in collaboration with Milano & Partners, the official promotional agency of the city of Milan, that, with the brand YesMilano, attracts new visitors, talents and investments.

In the 48-hour long creative session, NABA and YesMilano challenged 50 students of Communication and Graphic DesignDesign and Media Design and New Technologies Areas, divided in 10 teams, to conceive innovative designs to meet the current needs of a city like Milan. The marathon’s brief “Milano neighborhood by neighborhood” involved the students of the Academy in the creation of a communication campaign revolving around the theme of the rediscovery of Milan’s neighbourhood dimension. The projects were developed starting from the questions “How can design bring the neighbourhoods and their multiplicity/diversity at the centre of Milan’s identity? How can it bring it at the core of its inhabitants’ conscience? How to represent a neighbourhood and what makes it stand out from the others?”.
