Creativity becomes a tool to fight crime and raise awareness of relevant social issues. The BA in Graphic Design and Art Direction students worked on communication campaigns against loansharking. Their concepts and the entire project will be presented on October 18 from 3:00 PM in Room G 0.4 at the NABA campus in Milan via C. Darwin 20. During the event, the most interesting proposals will be awarded. The event is open to the public.

Awareness-raising campaigns by NABA students

The communication project was born to raise awareness on the issue of loansharking. It comes from the collaboration between NABA and the Ministero dell’Interno, Commissario straordinario del Governo per il coordinamento delle iniziative antiracket e antiusura (Ministry of the Interior, Government's Extraordinary Commissioner for the coordination of anti-racket and anti-usury initiatives). Students discussed the complexity of the loansharking phenomenon. They moved on to the conceptual analysis, strategic plan and creative process. To conclude, they took part in the production of print and audiovisual media.

The October 18 event will shed light on the project's goals. Here Patrizia Moschella (Communication and Graphic Design Area Leader) will introduce the presentation and the prizegiving. Students and project supervisors Piero Lo Faro and Piero Bagolini (NABA lecturers) will attend the event. Furthermore, the Commissario straordinario del Governo per il coordinamento delle iniziative antiracket e antiusura, Eleonora Montani (Professor of Criminal Law and Gender Law And Women's Rights - Bocconi) and Lorenzo Frigerio (Journalist - Libera Informazione and coordinator of the inter-university platform of Libera Milano) will also take the floor.
