THE PROGRAM: OVERVIEW

NABA’s Semester Abroad Programmes are designed for international undergraduate students who wish to spend a semester studying in Milan or in Rome.

Semester Abroad students will spend a term at the NABA campus in Milan or Rome together with students coming from all over the world and will have the opportunity of taking part in courses in different fields of interest, such as communication and graphic design, design, fashion design, visual arts, media design, new technologies, set design.

Through hands-on project work, you will enhance your independent critical thinking skills. NABA faculty members will guide you to develop your creative identity and clarify some personal and professional goals.

If you wish to apply for a Semester Abroad Programme at NABA, you must submit the Semester Abroad course syllabus to your home university in advance for their approval and confirmation.

Tuition fee for international students: € 7.500

Tuition fee for eu students: € 5.000

CALENDARS

NABA offers the possibility to choose between two different academic calendars to meet the needs and requirements of students and universities from all around the world. 

The Dedicated Academic Calendar follows the U.S. academic cycle and the academic year goes from September to May. 

Resulting Dedicated Programmes give students the chance of partially customising their study plan that will become effective only after receiving formal approval from NABA. 

For the study plans to be approved, they must be sent via email at semesterabroad@naba.it.

The Semester Abroad Programmes within Dedicated Calendar are available in Milan and Rome campus in English language.

 

The Integrated Academic Calendar follows the Italian and main EU countries academic cycle and the academic year goes from September to July. 

Resulting Integrated Programmes are not customisable but allow students to join the regular classes and study path alongside with NABA degree students, by choosing between Spring and Fall semesters and 2nd and 3rd year according to the academic level of origin. 

The Semester Abroad Programmes within Integrated Calendar is currently available only in Milan campus both in English and Italian language.

Students who wish to apply for a Semester Abroad Programme in Milan can choose between Integrated Academic Calendar and Dedicated Academic Calendar.

For students who wish to apply for a Semester Abroad Programme in Rome, only Dedicated Semester Abroad programmes are currently available.
