Competition projects of new concepts for the standard room of Ibis Hotels. Accor Group, the largest hotel operator worldwide, selected 5 european shools of design (4 french institutions + Naba) for a contest aimed at developing a new vision for one of their most popular hotel brands - Ibis Hotel. The competition involved the students of the 1st year of the MA-degree program in Interior Design of Naba.

A simple system for a multiple, flexible use of the space; a continuous linear element that runs along the walls, where all the functional accessories can be hooked, clamped, plugged, switched on and off, according to the guest's needs and preferences; the decorative setting of the room can be arbitrary.
The small room is designed along a diagonal line, as a telescopic device. Warm wood, sliding panels, a gradient of green colors, the door is a mirror that enlarges the perception of the space.
A cosy, warm and welcoming place, the u-shaped table against the wall can slide all the way over the bed and redefine the functionality of the space according the the guest's needs.
The small room is divided into smaller functional areas. The bathroom is a comfort zone that takes the center of the stage.
The space is layered by a series of translucent surfaces, and becomes ephemeral. Natural light, artificial light and video projections blend together in a heavenly dematerialized space.

NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti during the Design Week took part in the event conceived by Alcova, at the spaces of the Ex Macello di Porta Vittoria - in Viale Molise, 62 in Milan - with the exhibition "L'Allievo. A dialogue between generations of designers NABA".
The immersive experience designed by NABA with AMSA - Gruppo A2A, during the Milan Design Week, as part of the exhibition-event INTERNI Cross Vision for FuoriSalone 2024, communicates the positive outcomes of separate waste collection for environmental sustainability.
The BA Design students, together with Amsa (A2A Group), have developed innovative ideas and digital strategies focusing on the theme of circular economy and waste, in order to involve and improve the behavior of citizens in the Amsa’s collection system.
