The Project

The students of the MA in Interior Design of NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, have designed, led by the professor Paolo Giacomazzi, the exhibit design of the Archive/Museum Limonta | 1893 20/21.

In recent decades, many companies have had a short or very short life cycle: they rise, explode and fall like comets. In this panorama of fast and aggressive turnover, however, there are some virtuous cases - and in Italy we can mention many - that have lasted over the years, under the sign of research and the tradition of "savoir faire".

Therefore, there is a growing number of "historical" companies that decide to show their biography and production through a museum that certifies their heritage and high quality standards and that scientifically preserves their archives.

The exhibit design 20/21 course will lead students towards the Limonta corporate museum project, through the analysis of the company, its history and production line, in search of contents to design an exhibit that organizes and shows a selection of them, and that develops up to the technical details.
