The Marco Polo/Turandot program is an initiative of the Conference of Italian University Rectors (Conferenza dei Rettori delle Università Italiane - CRUI), created as an international agreement between Italy and China. The aim of the program is to strengthen scientific cooperation between Italy and Asia and to increase the number of Chinese students at Italian Universities (Marco Polo) and Institutions of Artistic, Music and Dance Higher Education (Turandot).
The Turandot program has been developed to enable Chinese students to gain a good level of proficiency of the Italian language and culture (students are expected to attain B1/B2 linguistic competences), so that they can successfully study at an Italian institution of higher education.
NABA, as an AFAM Institution, adheres to the Turandot international cooperation program and intends to contribute to the effectiveness of the project by welcoming aspiring Chinese students who are able to demonstrate suitable technical, artistic and linguistic skills to access BA (Diploma Accademico di 1° Livello) and MA (Diploma Accademico di 2° Livello) courses.
