The film review "NABA - Percorsi d’Autore" returns for its second edition, now in collaboration with Anteo Palazzo del Cinema, where the scheduled events will take place. Initiated as part of the BA in Film and Animation at the Milan Campus, from an idea by Alessandro Bertante (NABA BA in Film and Animation Course Leader), the series was designed to offer an innovative perspective on the world of cinema, exploring a variety of artistic expressions and directorial sensitivities.
Four public events will be held from October 2024 to March 2025, featuring film screenings followed by a dedicated talk. These will showcase some of the leading directors in contemporary Italian cinema, moderated by Dario Zonta (artistic director of the series and NABA lecturer).

The first scheduled event took place on Monday, October 28 at 7:20 PM at the Sala President of Anteo Palazzo del Cinema (P.za XXV Aprile 8, Milan) with the screening of “I dannati” by director Roberto Minervini, who won the award for Best Director in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. A live radio broadcast also accompanied this event as part of an episode of “Hollywood Party Factory”, a programme broadcast on Rai Radio3 at 7 PM, during which Dario Zonta, together with some Academy students, interviewed the guest director.

Following the initial appointment featuring “I dannati” by director Roberto Minervini, the series returns on Monday, December 2 at 7:20 PM at the Sala President of Anteo Palazzo del Cinema, with the screening of “Il tempo che ci vuole” by Francesca Comencini. This film explores the relationship between a father and daughter, cinema and life, an apparently perfect childhood and the process of growing up and making all the wrong choices. After the screening, attendees can participate in a discussion with the director, moderated by Dario Zonta. This event will also include a live radio broadcast from the Parla con Anteo recording studio located within Anteo Palazzo del Cinema. As part of “Hollywood Party Factory” broadcast at 7 PM on Rai Radio 3, the media partner for “NABA - Percorsi d’Autore”, the NABA lecturer and artistic director of the initiative will converse with show hosts Steve Della Casa and Erika Favaro, alongside Francesca Comencini and some Academy students.
