NABA announces its first open call for educators, artists, designers, and professionals interested in contributing to the upcoming Workshop and Intensive Activities Week, taking place from November 24 to 28, 2025, at the Milan Campus (Via C. Darwin, 20).

The initiative aims to promote the exchange of artistic pedagogies, innovative teaching methods, and cross-cultural approaches to art and design education. The Academy welcomes proposals from lecturers, academics, and practitioners from a wide range of disciplines who are eager to share their expertise and enrich the NABA community.

The selected workshops will be addressed to final-year BA and MA students from across the Academy’s disciplines, offering them the opportunity to step outside their regular curricula and engage with new perspectives and practices. Some sessions will be curated by the NABA Visual Arts and Design and Applied Arts Departments, while others will be selected through this open call.

Each workshop will take place in person at the Milan Campus over the course of two consecutive days, for a total of 16 hours (from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with a one-hour lunch break). Activities will be conducted in English and will involve cross-disciplinary groups of up to 35 students, potentially from the Communication and Graphic Design, Design, Fashion Design, Media Design and New Technologies, Set Design, and Visual Arts Areas (LINK ALLE AREE).

Proposals may be submitted until 26 May 2025. The selected workshops will be announced on 9 June 2025.
