The #ErasmusDays 2022 gives the opportunity to discover the potential of Virtual Production within learning processes. On this occasion, NABA will present "ARS / The Virtual Production and the future of learning", a research project in collaboration with the SAE Institute Belgrade. Such a public event will be live on the Academy's YouTube channel on 13 October from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
The ARS project and the presentation programme
The ARS project was born as part of the Partnerships in vocational education and training course, promoted and supported by the Erasmus+ Programme. The events of recent years have highlighted the need to develop new and effective forms of remote collaboration, both in the vocational and training spheres. The ARS project investigates the potential of Virtual Production through the hybridisation of physical and digital elements, according to the principle of "learning by doing".
After the institutional greetings by Guido Tattoni (NABA Dean) and the presentation of the project goals by Marija Koprivica Lelicanin (Researcher and Academic Coordinator - SAE Institute Belgrade), the talk programme includes a series of presentations. Emanuele Lomello (Media Laboratory Manager) will explore the techniques, uses and technologies of Virtual Production. Andrea Maggiolo (BA in New Technologies for Applied Arts Course Advisor Leader) will introduce the educational and training aspects. To conclude, Predrag Milosevic (Head of Animation VFX and Game Art Department - SAE Institute Belgrade) and Andreja Hamovic (Head of the Film Department - SAE Institute Belgrade) will explore the potential and fields of application of the project.
