The NABA Rome Campus launches the second edition of “NABA CHATS,” a series of talks established in 2023 which, every Thursday at 6:00 PM in Room 0.01 of the Rome Campus (Via Ostiense 92), invites guests from various academic disciplines to present their artistic research. From book presentations to noteworthy cinematic case studies, the invited speakers will share their perspectives on key reflections and insights shaping their fields, engaging in open dialogue with the audience. These conversations, designed to provide unique insights into the latest trends and developments permeating contemporary artistic practices, will commence on Thursday, October 24, and follow the Academic Year calendar, with simultaneous Italian-English translation provided.
NABA presents the second edition of “NABA CHATS”: the first two events
The first event, titled “Dizionario Taroni-Cividin. Concetti e pratiche performative,” will take place on Thursday, October 24, and will feature a conversation between Roberto Taroni (artist) and Daniele Vergni (Scienze dello Spettacolo PhD), moderated by Caterina Iaquinta (NABA BA in Painting and Visual Arts and MA in Visual Arts and Curatorial Studies Course Leader). The next event, scheduled for Thursday, November 7, titled “La Ferocia. Rielaborazione artistica interdisciplinar,” will see Gabriele Paolocà (theatre director) in conversation with Valerio Polici (NABA lecturer) on the theme of interdisciplinary artistic reinterpretation.
