Preparing young people for the world of work by placing education and the development of knowledge and skills – those that enhance individual qualities and aspirations – at the centre. This is the goal of NABA Career Day, which took place last week on the Rome campus.

It was an intense day that welcomed company representatives from various creative sectors—cinema and animation, graphic design and communication, new technologies, and fashion—during which more than 80 interviews were held for internships and job positions.

Each year, the event brings companies directly into NABA, creating opportunities for final-year students and Alumni to engage in real interviews with professionals from their field of study, and helping them take their first steps towards a successful career. In the lead-up to NABA Career Day, students also took part in two dedicated sessions focused on behavioural training and soft skills development – learning how to approach interviews, navigate the job market, gain confidence with common dynamics, and build the right mindset to stand out.

The event was also an opportunity to celebrate the fifth consecutive year in which NABA has been confirmed by the QS World University Rankings as the top Academy of Fine Arts in Italy and among the top 100 universities worldwide in the field of Art & Design (link QS news).

Special guests at the NABA Career Day included Amedeo Ciaccheri (President of Rome’s Municipio VIII), Martina Lascialfari (General Director of the Fondo per la Repubblica Digitale), and Roberto Tropea (Sviluppo Lavoro Italia, a Ministero del Lavoro company).
