Inspired by Milan and the world of fashion, students of the BA in Graphic Design and Art Direction and of the BA in Film and Animation faced each other in a graphics contest focusing on creativity and urban mobility. To involve and enhance young talent, NABA and Uber asked them to design a series of projects for the liveries of NCC cars registered in the app.

The winning projects of the graphics contest

The competition came from the collaboration between NABA and Uber. It focused on cars as artistic and cultural means to add aesthetic value to the urban fabric. Here are the four selected projects. The first one - "Runway" by Chiara Caiti - represents the frenetic mood of Milan during Fashion Week. The illustration shows people walking as if they were on the runway; they are elegant and determined to reach their goals. Students Alice Chiofalo and Alice Guerrini collaborated on "Ago, filo e nodo" ("Needle, wire and knot") and "Milan's Symphony". The two works convey the idea of a city that is always on the move and inclusive, where the attitude is to welcome everyone. To conclude, "Day of Milan" by Zofia Zarska looks at the essence and identity of Milan by emphasising the bond between its dynamic lifestyle and fashion.
