During Milan Fashion Week 2024, which will take place from 17 to 23 September, the creations of several students and Alumnae from NABA’s Fashion Design Area will be showcased and presented at three key events in the industry: Milano Moda Graduate 2024, LINEAPELLE FAIR, and Mittelmoda The Fashion Award.

Marica Bove, a NABA Alumna from the BA in Fashion Design in Milan, has been selected as a finalist for Milano Moda Graduate 2024 — an event promoted by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana dedicated to students from Italian fashion schools, taking place on September 17 at 8:00 PM in the Sala delle Cariatidi at Palazzo Reale (Piazza del Duomo 12, Milan). Marica, will have the opportunity to present her collection — consisting of five outfits — to an international panel of industry experts, who will assess the progress and achievements of the young designers.

The creations of NABA student from the BA in Fashion Design in Milan, Alice Bertaso, will be exhibited at LINEAPELLE FAIR, the international fair of leather, accessories, components, fabrics, synthetics, and models. The fair will dedicate an exhibition space to Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda ETS within Pavilion 24 at Rho Fiera Milano (Strada Statale Sempione 28, Rho) from September 17 to 19. Alice’s collection, previously presented at the Milano Fashion Show 2024 organised by the Academy, will be on display to the public on 17 and 18 September from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM and on 19 September from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Also at Rho Fiera Milano, from 17 to 19 September, MICAM Milano will take place - a major event in the fashion industry that, each February and September, brings together producers, buyers, and journalists to discover the collections of over a thousand footwear brands for men, women, and children, and to stay updated on the latest style trends and technologies. Within this event is the Mittelmoda The Fashion Award, a renowned international fashion competition reserved for designers and fashion design students from art and design schools worldwide. Among the finalists who will showcase their collections on the Mittelmoda The Fashion Award runway on 16 September at 4:30 PM are Alice Bertaso, and Carlotta Cilloni, an Alumna of the MA in Fashion Design in Milan.
