NABA is participating in Denim Première Vision, an expo dedicated to the denim industry, its trends, and its market, presenting an in-house collection of denim clothing inspired by the Autumn/Winter 2025/26 trends. The outcomes of the initiative named "Project Tomorrow", which involved several NABA students from the Fashion Design Area, will be showcased at the new edition of the trade fair, scheduled for June 5 and 6, 2024, at Superstudio Più (via Tortona 27, Milan), within the Trend Forum, and also involving IED (Istituto Europeo di Design).
The project is curated by Denim Premiere Vision Fashion team, with Lorenza Martello as its referent, with the partners Alessio Berto (pattern maker and NABA lecturer), with support from Sandra Ferrando (pattern maker and NABA lecturer), and coordinated by Luca Belotti (NABA Masters of Arts and Academic Masters in Fashion Design Area Course Leader), Intissar Bouhi (NABA Fashion Design Academic Assistant), Daniele Mattiuz (Fashion Design Academic Assistant), and Colomba Leddi (NABA Fashion Design Area Leader).
NABA for Denim Première Vision
NABA students involved (Simone Bucci, Anna Buccino, Kubra Colak, María Fernanda Escotto, and Anna Chiara Rabito), under the guidance of industry expert Alessio Berto and the Première Vision team, have committed to redefining the trends of Denim AW 2025/26. From conceptualisation to execution, they participated in all phases of the project, from design ideation to garment development, gaining valuable experience for their future careers and engaging with the challenges and demands of industry professionals.
The development of the collection was conducted through a meticulous process, starting with a comprehensive briefing on the Denim AW 25-26 season by the Denim Première Vision fashion team. Through collaboration with the expo's exhibitors, the students acquired knowledge about the latest technologies and material developments in the sector. They then designed 10 outfits, comprising 20 items, adhering to market and production constraints and ensuring the collection's fit and manufacturability.
