The sky, clouds and light flow over the objects collected by two personalities of the Italian culture and art scene. BA in Design students take part in "La casa di Laura Castagno e Leonardo Mosso" thanks to "Due movimenti di 4' 33''" by Mariano Dallago (NABA lecturer), which can be visited on the "Archivi d'Affetto" website. The first episode of the project brings to the light little-known stories of outstanding designers, often bordering on the art world. "La casa di Laura Castagno e Leonardo Mosso" is also an exhibition. It is possible to visit it at Circolo del Design in Turin until May 12.

The exhibition in Turin and NABA students' contribution
Among the contributions of "La casa di Laura Castagno e Leonardo Mosso" is "Due movimenti di 4' 33"" by Mariano Dallago. It involved NABA students Ludovica Gerardi, Lorenzo Meroni, Aldo Mucciarone and Aurora Possenti. The whole exhibition project focuses on the work of Laura Castagno (architect, visual artist and scholar) and Leonardo Mosso (architect, designer, teacher, historian, photographer and artist). During the 1980s, they founded the MAAAD, Museum of Architecture, Applied Arts and Design, in their home-atelier. Then, they collected an extraordinary heritage of documents, books, works, drawings, photographs and objects. "Due movimenti di 4' 33''" transforms one of the house rooms into an evocative camera obscura. Here, the external environment invades the space through a small hole in the window. It rests on the walls, the floor and the things all around.
"Archivi d'Affetto" is curated by Maurizio Cilli, Sara Fortunati and Stefano Mirti, under the patronage of the Municipality of Turin, major supporter Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, with the contribution of Regione Piemonte.
