NABA and lafeltrinelli.it look at new expressive languages to show Gen Z's heterogeneous perspective on the world. They face this challenge on the Maremosso digital pages. From December 2021, students of the Academy illustrate part of the online magazine edited by La Feltrinelli; they enrich the columns Passato di letture and Un mare di libri.
The illustrations and the students involved by NABA and lafeltrinelli.it
Thanks to the collaboration between NABA and lafeltrinelli.it, an ambitious project takes shape. Its purpose is to provide a visual interpretation of authors, anniversaries and social issues. Holocaust Memorial Day, International Women's Day, International Migrants Day, and the concepts of capitalism, hegemony and conspiracy are just some of the subjects of the hundreds of drawings. As well as being published in the online magazine, the illustrations are on posters promoting books and events in La Feltrinelli bookshops.
Mirko Barcaiolo, Anna Bonomi, Yousf Bouchkara, Elisa Ceccoli, Alberto Corlade, Nicolo Etiopia, Costanza Lusini, Serena Santorelli, Federica Santoro, Chiara Seveso, Francesca Quagliano, Tommaso Spadaro: these under 25 students were selected by the NABA BA Programmes in Graphic Design and Art Direction, Fashion Design, Media Design and Multimedia Arts, Set Design and Painting and Visual Arts.
