In contemporary times, in a world inhabited by more than seven billion people, interior spaces play an increasingly important role in defining the qualities of ordinary and extraordinary experiences in the life of each of us. Interior space is built: relating to it does not mean entering a void, but becoming part of a complex physical, bodily and narrative system. The interior designer is able to “activate” the public and private spaces of the contemporary city: he is the professional figure that allows to give meaning and soul to the places, both physical and mental, within which the life of man is defined.

The main skills of an interior designer:
The Master of arts in Design - Interior Design programme intends to explore in depth the themes and methodological processes related to the design of interior space, with the aim of developing mature professional profiles, aware, reliable and flexible, able to express themselves successfully in the context of the global world of work. The course exposes students to a mix of different design experiences led by teachers of high professional level and also of international origin, in the broader educational context of one of the most important cities in the world for contemporary design, in a nation clearly characterized by the richness of its culture and history.
You can become an interior designer through an Undergraduate programme or a Master programme, which is obtained at the end of a three-year course, although for completeness and more specific and in-depth experience is strongly suggested to deal with a Masters of arts degree.
