The Graphic Designer is a communications professional who designs effective and consistent visual solutions. He or she works on the meaning of messages using signs and graphic forms that he or she processes and treats to develop content applicable to different types of media.
The graphic designer skilfully uses the elements of graphic and typographic composition to design brand’s visual identities (logos and corporate identity), magazines, posters, and advertising with an output on paper as well as on digital. He or she is responsible for the aesthetic and functional outcome of complex communication elements such as packaging design.
The skills of the graphic designer are many: he/she must know the rules of typography, page layout and compositing, correctly using technological programs (e.g. Adobe Suite) also for the development of animated graphics and templates for the web. Can work in the field of printing (publishing, posters), interactivity (web, multimedia), illustration or animation (motion design).
