Joint Summer Course NABA – UAL: Fashion Design

Introductory level

An immersive 5-week experience for those who are passionate about fashion. It combines 3 weeks at Central Saint Martins in London, focusing on research and 2D design, and 2 weeks at NABA campus in Milan, where students can design a capsule collection, guided by lecturers and getting a taste of the methodologies of the two prestigious academies of the vibrant atmospheres and fashion systems of the two cities.

Objectives

  • Acquire foundational knowledge of fashion design and gain a comprehensive understanding of the creative process, from research and idea generation to the development of a fashion project.
  • Develop practical skills by experimenting with fashion illustration, transitioning from 2D to 3D, and exploring key techniques in the creative process. 
  • Create professional and relevant materials for a final presentation aligned with the fashion design path.
