NABA announces its participation in "Videocittà – Visual. Digital. Culture," the festival dedicated to vision and digital culture, scheduled from July 5 to 7, 2024, at the Gazometro Complex in Rome Ostiense (Via del Commercio 9/11, Rome). During the event, NABA will showcase the course project "ZERO NEGATIVO”, created by the students of the Computer Art course in the BA in Graphic Design and Art Direction at the NABA Rome Campus, under the artistic direction of MOTOREFISICO.

"Videocittà – Visual. Digital. Culture" serves as an open and innovative audiovisual observatory, capable of discovering and highlighting the transformative realities of moving images and promoting the excellence of the audiovisual production and employment sector. Founded by Francesco Rutelli and directed by Francesco Dobrovich, the festival provides a visionary perspective on various disciplines and expressions of moving images through projections, AV performances, educational and informative talks, monumental and immersive installations, video mapping, and video art.

The students’ project "ZERO NEGATIVO" was created in collaboration with MOTOREFISICO, a duo composed of Lorenzo Pagliara and Gianmaria Zonfrillo, both architects and designers based in Rome, who work in the fields of interior design, art, video making, and artistic installation.

Using the synchrony between the projector and the laser, the installation captures the essence of blood as a vital fluid with rhythmic movements that evoke the heartbeat. The images depict the reproduction and multiplication of cells in a unique visual experience, thus immersing the viewer in the dynamics of the human body.
