An international didactic experience to study in Milan and Rome: NABA launches the Semester Abroad Programmes 2023. That is the chance to spend a term at an Academy's campus, where you will join classes with students coming from all over the world. Here, you will take part in courses in different fields of interest, such as communication and graphic design, design, fashion design, media design and new technologies, set design, visual arts.
New European Bauhaus: the course in Art, Design and Sustainability
The Semester Abroad Programmes 2023 also presents a brand new course in Art, Design, and Sustainability that will start from the A.Y. 2023/24. The programme is in partnership with the NEB Stewardship, within the New European Bauhaus initiatives of which NABA is a partner, adhering to the European Commission's strategy aimed to make sustainability, inclusion and aesthetics more accessible and tangible for higher education institutions and their students.
Semester Abroad Programmes Academic Calendars
NABA offers the possibility to choose between two different academic calendars to meet the needs and requirements of students and universities from all around the world.
The Dedicated Academic Calendar follows the US academic cycle, and the academic year goes from September to May, giving students a chance to partially customise their curricula. The Dedicated Academic Calendar is available in both Milan and Rome campus in English language.
The Integrated Academic Calendar, instead, follows the Italian and main EU countries' academic cycle. In this case, the academic year goes from October to July. Its programmes are available in Milan and Rome campus, both in English and Italian languages. They allow students to join the regular classes and study path alongside with NABA degree students, by choosing between Spring and Fall semesters and 2nd and 3rd year of the Bachelors of Arts of choice, according to the academic level of origin.
