From December 1 to 3, the spotlights are on independent movies and shorts: NABA is the cultural partner of the Potenza Film Festival 2022 edition. Since 2004, the event has focused on environmental issues, political struggles, and social justice. This year, on the last day, it will take place the talk by Vincenzo Cuccia (Media Design and New Technologies and Set Design Area Leader): "La formazione dei giovani autori e autrici del cinema e dell'audiovisivo". Some audiovisual projects by Academy students will be on the big screen during the event. Below is information on the independent film festival.

Noeltan Arts organises the Potenza Film Festival, mainly supported by Regione Basilicata (within the scope of I Atto Integrativo RegioneBasilicata Sensi Contemporanei "Lo Sviluppo dell'Industria Audiovisiva nel Mezzogiorno").
In addition to NABA, cultural partners include ANAC Associazione Nazionale Autori Cinematografici.
