The film review "NABA - Percorsi d’Autore" returns for its second edition, now in collaboration with Spazio Cinema, where the scheduled events will take place. Initiated as part of the BA in Film and Animation at the Milan Campus, from an idea by Alessandro Bertante (NABA BA in Film and Animation Course Leader), the series was designed to offer an innovative perspective on the world of cinema, exploring a variety of artistic expressions and directorial sensitivities.
Four public events will be held from October 2024 to April 2025, featuring film screenings followed by a dedicated talk. These will showcase some of the leading directors in contemporary Italian cinema, moderated by Dario Zonta (artistic director of the series and NABA lecturer).
"NABA - Percorsi d’Autore": the first event scheduled for October 28
The first event is scheduled for Monday, October 28 at 7:20 PM at the Sala President of Anteo Palazzo del Cinema (P.za XXV Aprile, 8, Milan), with a screening of “I dannati” by director Roberto Minervini, winner of Best Director Award in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. This event will also feature a live radio broadcast during an episode of “Hollywood Party”, airing on Rai Radio3 at 7:00 PM, where Dario Zonta will interview the guest director alongside several Academy students.
