NABA in collaboration with Oikos promoted an intensive workshop dedicated to the students of the BA in Fashion Design, in order to focus their attention on the negative impacts of the fast fashion industry, encouraging them to rethink the fashion world critically and directing them towards consumer awareness.
The students thus had the opportunity to increase their consciousness about sustainability issues, developing a project based on the fundamental principles of upcycling and therefore the re-evaluation of second-hand objects and clothing, to reinvent them and give them a new life.
This initiative is part of the Cambia Moda! educational project, promoted by Mani Tese and funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation to encourage young talents to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to choose a more sustainable lifestyle.
